One of my best guy friends is muslim and I've known him for quite some time many years.. He was born and raised in North America so I do not believe he was brought up in a very strict muslim family. The thing is that I've never actually met his parents so I do not know what to expect if I ever do meet them.. Anyways recently we both admitted that we kind of like each other and may consider dating later this year.. Since he is muslim, he does participate in his own religious beliefs such as ramadan etc, which I totally respect. He knows I'm from a Christian family but I am personally not a very religious person.
White guy dating muslim girl - Dating site gone bad

Finding love as a young Muslim in Britain can be a stressful experience. Digital dating and matrimonial services seem to have replaced the traditional system of being introduced to a potential marriage suitor by your aunty and going to meet them in their living room, making small talk over chai. Selecting my religiosity on a sliding scale for a marriage app gave me a mini existential crisis, how practicing even am I?! Does it seem insincere to portray myself as more religious than I am? Watching shows and films on television showing teenagers pursuing relationships openly made me feel major FOMO when even talking about dating at home was taboo. Well, until we reached our twenties and then we were suddenly supposed to have a string of possible marriage suitors lined up in waiting.
What it’s like dating as a young Muslim in the Tinder age
There's this guy I know who I've become good friends with. I met him in first year university, and I always felt like he kind of had a thing for me. I really like him myself! He hasn't dated anyone all through university, and I'd like to ask him out this year, we've known each other for almost three years now.
We were chatting during happy hour at the annual conference where we meet and catch up. He is one of few white folks in my circle of friends. Do you feel like its Los Angeles? Do you only date Muslim men?
