They are diverse, come from all walks of life, and include people of all races and ethnicities, all ages, all socioeconomic statuses, and from all parts of the country. Health Disparities Among Bisexual People
During adolescence, young people form their sexual identity. Many of the studies are regional or local. Much of the research focuses on samples of LGBT youth that are disproportionately at risk. Sexual self-concept is an individual's evaluation of his or her sexual feelings and actions. Developing a sexual self-concept is a key developmental task of adolescence.
